Spring Tool Suite (STS) is an integrated development environment (IDE) designed specifically for developing Spring applications. It is built on the Eclipse platform and provides a range of tools to support the entire development lifecycle of Spring-based applications. To install Spring Tool suite on Mac OS follow below steps:
Step 1: Navigate to Spring IO Tools
Step 2: Scroll down to section Spring Tools 4 for Eclipse and select your Architecture, In my case it is X86_x64
Once you select your OS, download will start.
Step 3: Open downloaded file and drag SpringToolSuite4 to Applications folder. It will copy SpringToolSuite4 to Applictions folder.
Step 4: Navigate to Applications folder and Open SpringToolSuite4
Step 5: Change workspace directory if you want, otherwise click on Launch
It will launch Spring Tool Suite 4 IDE
