Appium is an open source test automation framework for use with native, hybrid and mobile web apps.
It drives iOS, Android, and Windows apps using the WebDriver protocol.
The basic philosophy of Appium is that you should be able to reuse code between iOS and Android, and that’s why when you see the API they are same across iOS and android.
Follow below steps to Download and Install Appium
Step 1: Follow this link and click on "Download Appium" button
Step 2: Out of Several exe select appium-desktop-setup.exe
Step 3: Double click on downloaded file or run it using any other method.
Step 4: You may get error the file is not sage, in that case click on "More info".
Step 5: Click on Run Anyway application.
Step 6: Select Only for me and click Next
Step 7: Click Finish and Run Appium.
Once you will click on Finish and "Run Appium" checkbox is selected below window will be displayed.
